0.5 cup dried culinary lavender
2 cup granulated sugar
4 cup wild blueberries
Make lavender simple syrup by dissolving sugar in 2 cups of water and adding lavender in a medium sized pot. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 15 minutes. Strain and discard lavender, reserve syrup.
Meanwhile, place blueberries in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Add simple syrup and cook until it reaches 220°F. Add to clean mason jars filling ¾ full, for storage. Store in the refrigerator or process to keep shelf stable.
