6 PEI oysters
0.50 cup Cow’s Creamery Smoked Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 tsp minced garlic
tsp Maritime Madness Hot Sauce, your favourite
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
tbsp Panko crumbs
Coarse salt, for platter
Parsley, chopped for garnish
Lemon wedges, for garnish
Preheat air-fryer to 425 Degrees F.
While air-fryer is heating clean oysters. Run them under cool water and make sure all the oysters are completely closed. If any of them are open, and don't close after you're touching them, toss them.
Place oysters in air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes. Stay close as you will hear them pop open, typically at the 7-minute mark. Remove top shell and set aside.
In a bowl combine cheese, garlic, and hot sauce.
Top each oyster with 1 tbsp of cheese mixture and top with 1 tsp of Panko crumbs.
Cook in air fryer for 3-5 minutes until cheese bubbles and crumbs become crispy.
Place on a platter with sea salt and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
