Pastry for 9 inch pie
cup of chopped celery
cup of mussels
tbsp of Butter
cup of diced potatoes
tbsp of flour
clove chopped garlic
Scrub the mussels and cook in boiling water for 10 minutes and then shuck them.
Reserve the liquid and cook the potatoes in it. Remove and set aside
Saute onion, garlic and celery in butter. Stir in flour, thyme and salt and cook for two minutes
Slowly add cooking liquid and cook until thickened. Add Potatoes and Mussels.
Place in pastry-lined pie plate and top with pastry. Bake at 400F until crust is browned.
